For over a decade Jim has lived and worked in Waterloo Region. After attending Wilfrid Laurier University, Jim quickly realized that our community was building towards something big! Kitchener-Waterloo has a uniquely small-town feel, but with all the amenities and services that you’ll find in a top-10 metropolitan area. After his first year at WLU, Jim jumped into the real estate world with both feet; not only purchasing his own investment property but also launching his career by working full-time in administrative support at a major Kitchener brokerage.
After seeing how real estate worked on the back end, he felt that he could do it better! So, upon graduating, he took a brief Real Estate hiatus to hone his natural sales skills, while working for Pella Windows & Doors as an in-home sales professional. During his two years with Pella, he managed to become one of the top five sales representatives in the province and prided himself on his 90%-plus customer satisfaction rating. Jim has also garnered valuable sales experience over the years while working for Jackman Construction as a junior project manager for residential construction, and with WD Craftline as a top-performing sales rep in the high-end windows and doors market.
But Jim’s calling has always been real estate. Even during this time away from the industry, he maintained ties by working closely with Darryl Watty, Chestnut Park West’s sales leader for two consecutive years. Now licensed, Jim continues working in tandem with "The Watty Way" to drive the best overall client experience in Waterloo Region. Always quick to help and constantly striving to remain on the cutting edge of technology available within the real estate industry to streamline and improve the client experience, Jim believes the best is yet to come.
